Fees

I will discuss my fee structure with you at the time of the initial telephone consultation or at the first appointment.  Unless arranged in advance, payment is expected at the time of service.  I accept checks, cash, and credit cards. I appreciate that therapy may represent a considerable financial investment for some and so I offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments.


Insurance

I am currently a preferred professional provider with CareFirst, Anthem BlueCross BlueShield and an out-of-network provider with other insurance companies.  If your health insurance provider offers out-of-network benefits, you should be able to receive some reimbursement for my services. While I will work with you to ascertain your coverage, please understand that it is your responsibility to determine whether your insurance allows you to choose an out-of-network provider or requires you to choose an in-network provider.  If you are required to submit forms to your provider, I will provide a monthly detailed bill for you to submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement.


Cancellation

Please provide 24 hours-notice for appointment cancellations.  If we are not able to reschedule for another mutually acceptable time and you cancel the appointment in less than 24 hours, you will be responsible for the full amount of the appointment charge.
